MC2 (Magic College II) is a very serious game developed by the French Building Federation (Fédération française du bâtiment - FFB) to promote the building trades (60 000 job vacancies each year in France).
The player evolves on a building site, selected from a list of options ranging from a school to a gymnasium, which he or she must build from scratch or refurbish. The player chooses an avatar from a list of 12 trades (brick layer, plumber, heating engineer, carpenter, etc.) and then proceeds to the worksite. On the job! Through all the stages of the construction project underway and just as though he or she was actually on site, the player is faced with realistic situations and, from time to time, an incident that requires taking rapid and effective decisions! Throughout this experience, it is of the utmost importance to show team spirit and respect for other workers, to follow instructions, to coordinate with the construction schedule and, of course, to comply with safety instructions at all times.
