Skills Denmark is the national competition in vocational education. The national competition is also used as an event for primary school pupils, to experience all the different vocational education. 
42.000 people visited the 3 days long event in January 2014.
Alongside the competition there is another one for the pupils in the 9th grade in primary schools. The competition is a "pass on” relay, and the pupils compete in class teams against other schools. Local competitions are held in vocational schools and only the country’s top ten teams get to the final. The relay attracts many pupils to the DM i Skills event.
